MICHAEL JACKSON CAPTURED THE WORLD WITH HIS MOONWALK BUT SURESH JOACHIM WILL BE SETTING THE WORLD RECORD - MOONWALKING FOR 24 HOURS
The multi Guinness world record holder Suresh Joachim just finished his 100 hours static cycling marathon in United Kingdom. Now Suresh Joachim will attempt to break the current World record for the longest time moonwalk. The current record is: Adam Hall (USA) moon walked a distance of 2.41 km (1.5 miles) in one hour on 22 October 2002 at Denver, Colorado, USA. Suresh Joachim is attempting to moonwalk 24 hours to cover over 40km.

According to the strict Guinness rules:

This record is for dancing the greatest possible distance by an individual, couple or a team in either an hour or continuously

A five-minute rest break is permitted after every hour of dancing. Thus if the dancers start at 9.00, a break would be permitted from 10.00 to 10.05, and a further one from 11.05 to 11.10, then from 12.10 to 12.15 etc.

Once a break has finished, the dance must be resumed at the point it ended on.

Although the record is for the distance the time taken should also be given.
The most remarkable demonstration of Suresh’s commitment to help suffering children will be the World Peace Marathon. This incredible journey will begin at 12:00 a.m. on December 25, 2006 in Jerusalem and end at 5:00 p.m. on June 23, 2007 in Sydney Australia. During his voyage, Suresh will travel through 88 major cities, in 54 countries passing a symbolic peace torch to dignitaries in each place. The journey will end with the peace torch being handed over to the Australian dignitary and followed by a huge musical celebration. Once his journey is complete, Suresh will have traveled over 6,000 KM, taking him a total of 181 days. During this time he hopes to raise minimum One Billion dollars for UFFORSC. Also Suresh Joachim will submit a petition to the United Nation with a million signatures to make June 24 a global cease fire day.
